Each of the colour coded 8 cores has a bigger gauge cross section of 4.0 mm² which makes it suitable for 4 channel signal distribution and professional amplifier and loudspeaker applications utilising a female to female NL8 philosophy were low signal loss over long cable runs is desirable.
