Each of the colour coded 8 cores has a cross section of 2.5 mm² which makes it suitable for signal transmission over short to mid lengths. Paired with the more affordable NL8FC connector this strikes a good balance of cost and performance as this will be adequate to drive mid/high loudspeakers and even in longer length some high output subwoofer applications with appropriate amplifier damping control engaged.

At Cablesmiths every professional loudspeaker cable is hand built to exact specifications using high quality Weidmüller hand tools and No 1 Pozidriv Screwdrivers in the case speakON screw terminal connectors. A common error that is made is the use of Phillips screwdrivers for these connectors that compromises the termination. Ever cable is further reinforced with high quality heatshrink to add more reinforcement to the crucial strain relief area that tends to be a point of failure in lower quality products.

We understand sound companies and production professionals have differing needs and requirements so through our customiser app custom speaker cable lengths can be designed and colour heatshrink labels, logos or inventory labelling can be added when you upload your image file or specify the text to be printed. If no design is submitted transparent heatshrink will be provided.
