Canare GS-6 Black Pedalboard Patch Cable

Canare is a Japanese manufacturer of audio and video cables for the professional A/V and broadcast markets that has a long established reputation for innovative products that offer long term value. Amongst these innovations is their Oxygen Free Copper (OFC) line of cables that includes Canare GS-6 that is specially designed for connecting guitars, basses and keyboards using 1/4" plugs.

High Quality and Durability Patch Cable for Pedalboard Wiring

The centre conductor of Canare GS-6 Guitar Cable is made of 127 high quality OFC strands that are flexible and ensure durability. The cable has an impressive proprietary double carbon plastic shield underneath the 92% coverage flexible copper braid shield which together eliminate microphonic handling noise and provide the cable great tensile strength to survive in any stage or studio environment. This high quality construction means the cable if more durable than ones employing a spiral shield which equates to better long term value for customers.

The cable has a capacitance of 160 pF/m which puts it towards the higher end of our Capacitance League Table. This makes the cable suitable for all general pedalboard applications and comparable to Mogami Gold but with the advantage of better shielding and cable colour options.

Silver Solder and Gold Tip Connectors for all Pedalboard Cables

This pack of Canare GS-6 patch leads is terminated with high quality Hicon 1/4" plugs with gold tips. These connectors have a lower profile than Neutrik’s NP2RX and Switchcraft’s pancake plugs, helping to save space on packed pedalboards with a neater appearance. The termination is made with silver solder for maximum conductivity to help ensure the most transparent signal transmission possible.

All our patch cables are meticulously constructed with cable preparation done with a high precision automated stripping machine for exact specifications and then hand soldered by our expert technicians right here in Perth Western Australia.
